Q. Who is Maddie Acid? / Is Maddie Brad?
A. It is pretty much widely believed and considered true that Maddie Acid is Brad Petering with voice effects. Maddie is credited as a director on several music videos, the return address sender on things purchased/sent from TV Girl HQ, and the graphic designer for several albums among other things. She and Brad also did an album together called Maddie Acid's Purple Hearts Club Band. It is also theorized that Maddie could be Mat Cothran of Coma Cinema / Elvis Depressedly due to a song of his titled "Madison Acid." Neither of these claims has been confirmed nor denied by Brad.

Q. What Happened to Trung Ngo? / Who is Trung Ngo?
A. Trung Ngo was the previous second singer for TV Girl. He was with the band from the beginning up until French Exit when he formally left and only partially contributed to the album. He supposedly "left to skate" but it is likely he just didn't want to make music anymore. This is reinforced by later statements from Brad. Trung has no current active social media, but as far as we know he is still friends with Brad. He was reportedly at the Grapes Upon The Vine launch party at Brad's house. You can hear his voice in the Our First 3 EPs collection, Lonely Women, and the TV Shuffle mixtape as well as a couple standalone songs on their Bandcamp.
